Silverleaf is not an IHG-owned business

The old ACC page incorrectly states that Holiday Inn Club Vacations is owned by IHG. HICV's current legal and corporate information says the opposite: Holiday Inn Club Vacations is independently owned and operated, majority owned by the Wilson family, and licenses the Holiday Inn branding.

That distinction matters when explaining who is responsible for the modern vacation ownership business.

Why owners look for a way out

• Annual charges connected with Silverleaf Resorts have become difficult to justify.
• The Silverleaf Resorts ownership is no longer used enough to justify its ongoing cost.
• The booking rules or availability connected with Silverleaf Resorts no longer suit the owner's travel plans.
• Later Silverleaf Resorts upgrades, points or additional interests did not resolve earlier concerns.
• A change in personal, family, health or financial circumstances has made the Silverleaf Resorts commitment harder to keep.
• The owner wants a documented end to the long-term Silverleaf Resorts commitment.
